ROSE PHOENIX

Rose Phoenix is a layered couture composition featuring a pure tissue peplum with an elongated rear extension, contrasting pink Jamawar blouse, Jamawar and Tencel organza gharara, multicolored embroidered net dupatta, crushed Tencel dupatta and jade Jamawar shawl. The ensemble explores the richness of heritage textiles through a contemporary vocabulary of layered construction, chata patti, intricate hand embellishment and unexpected color.

Ivory and antique gold form the foundation of the ensemble, while blush pink, jade, turquoise and jewel-toned Jamawar accents emerge throughout the composition. The result is a multidimensional bridal look in which every layer introduces a different textile, technique and movement while remaining connected through meticulous couture craftsmanship.

Signature Highlights

• The Pure Tissue Peplum: The elongated peplum is crafted from luminous pure tissue, allowing its delicately structured silhouette to retain fluidity. Its construction extends into an elongated rear cascade, adding ceremonial drama and creating a graceful continuation of the upper silhouette.
• The Ornamental Angrakha Composition: The peplum is articulated through an Angrakha-inspired front, framed with intricate hand embellishment. The neckline is densely encrusted, while meticulously composed motifs travel around the Angrakha formation and are anchored by an ornate handworked border.
• The Couture Handwork: The surface of the shirt is extensively embellished through layers of gold-toned handwork, dimensional stones, crystals, kora, dabka, sitara and intricate metallic detailing. Varying scales and densities of craftsmanship create a jewel-like surface, with the embellishment becoming increasingly elaborate around the neckline, Angrakha edges and borders.
• The Contrasting Pink Jamawar Blouse: Beneath the pure tissue peplum sits a striking pink Jamawar blouse, introducing a saturated tonal accent through the translucent outer layer. The richness of the woven Jamawar creates a beautiful dialogue between color, texture and the intricate handwork of the peplum.
• The Jamawar & Tencel Organza Gharara: The gharara is composed through a sophisticated interplay of Jamawar and fluid Tencel organza, juxtaposing the richness of heritage weaving with the lightness and movement of organza.
• The Chata Patti Ghera: The expansive ghera becomes a statement of textile artistry through a chata patti composition of contrasting Jamawar patterns and colors. Individual sections of woven textile are rhythmically arranged to create a vibrant architectural formation around the hem.
• The Embellished Ghera Motifs: Embroidered and hand-embellished motifs travel around the entire circumference of the gharara, integrating the multicolored chata patti into the broader couture composition. The detailing creates a richly articulated finish while emphasizing the volume and movement of the silhouette.
• The Multicolored Net Dupatta: A statement embroidered net dupatta introduces a spectrum of complementary and contrasting tones drawn from the ensemble. Its multicolored embroidery creates a striking counterpoint to the ivory tissue peplum while visually connecting the pink, jade and jewel-toned elements of the composition.
• The Crushed Tencel Dupatta: An additional crushed Tencel dupatta introduces another tactile dimension. Its fluid, softly crushed surface is framed by an intricately worked border on all four sides, offering a refined counterpoint to the more elaborate multicolored drape.

“With Rose Phoenix, I wanted every layer to feel as though it were emerging into something new. The translucent pure tissue reveals the richness of pink Jamawar beneath, while the chata patti ghera brings together different colors and woven patterns like fragments of an heirloom reimagined. The multicolored net, crushed Tencel and jade Jamawar shawl each introduce a different movement and character. Like a phoenix, the composition is built through transformation—heritage textiles renewed through color, craftsmanship and contemporary couture.”
